ST.JOHNS 1978-2008 On july 19th st.johns fc celebrate 30 years of football with an all day and night event at gainsborough sports c. u8s to u11s will play a 7-a-side competition and are asked to invite 4 other teams to form their league of 5. u12s to u15s are aked to invite 2 other teams to play a full-size 11-a-side round robin. ST.JOHNS / SCHAGEN This friday(9 may)our dutch friends visit us again and return home on monday. Friday night we meet up at rushmere sports club to welcome our guests,on Saturday an open top bus ride has been arranged and a tour of ITFC.Saturday night we are all off to St.clements club foxhall rd for a race night.Sunday is football day at rushmere sports club all day then its back to St.clements for our farewell party night including kareoke and disco. V V SCHAGEN 2008 Another brilliant weekend in Holland has just come to an end with the u10s and the u13s both giving a very good account of themselves against some older opposition,congratulations to the Woodbridge Ladies who came over with us this year as they ended up winning their group without even conceading a goal.In the parents match we were 3-0 up and cruising - but as usual the dutch hierarchy will not accept defeat on home soil so introduced a superb 15 year old who is on the books of AZ Alkmaar to help them punnish our old and weary legs.
